My Perfect Weekend... |

| My officemate and I had to go on a very important meeting in Pasadena. From the PR firm we were handling, Kat and I made sure to hit our best shot for the coming client call in the Pasadena metro. Whoever wondered that business trips are always going to be uptight and stressful just had it all wrong! What made this trip extra special even from the onset of the quick trip to a far off place is the fact that there is a wealth of activities that are made available to traveler’s that’ll surely capture the packed energy we had in this anticipated meeting. The Pasadena Inn housed us for the entire stay and amazingly enough, it was a nice hideout for the two of us. Kat and I were greeted by a cozy, intricately decorated hotel. It really is the meeting of different eras but it’s greatly combined to showcase an amazing interior fit for any occasion or function. I found out it was in service since 1930 so it is really clear that the rich history that is encompassed by this establishment has become imprinted on the design. The room was fully furnished and amazingly enough, the amenities made available to us were simply great. There’s cable television so, while preparing, there’s still time to spend some TV time. The wi-fi access was also accessible so it’s a plus, not one of those false advertisements, they sure have speedy connection. We were able to relax and have some good night’s sleep before we took the road and did our presentation. The following day, proceeding the incredible turn of events after that meeting, we were able to grab an impeccable meal at L& L Hawaiian Barbecue at address 323 South Arroyo Parkway. They have so generous servings of each of our orders and that shrimp that I got was just fried to perfection. Everything’s perfect as this hearty meal gave us happy tummies after a long day. Later that day, what more to do than give ourselves the pampering that we really needed and deserved. We made sure that this trip won’t just be another office function, we have agreed upon having this also as our chance to bond. And sure we did by going to this incredible Cote d’Azur Spa and made ourselves queens of our own right. Their soothing massage services just made us relieve the stress that we have had from the arduous preparations and the presentation itself. No doubt, from then on, we have agreed to be having more of this. With our client meeting successful, and two of us bonded together, this sure was a very perfect weekend for the two of us. |
